Philippians 1 Part 4 - God Works Through Hard Things

Paul in prison called himself the prisoner of Christ Jesus. He saw the hard things in his life as those things that would be used by God to spread the gospel and to prepare him for a more effective ministry in the service of his Lord. How often we see the hard things in our lives as unfair or improper when in reality they are the situations our Lord has chosen to magnify Himself and His Word through us. May all the hard things He brings our way be used to glorify Him, to humble us, and to bring others to faith in the only Savior.
