The 7th church to receive a letter from the Lord is the church of Laodicea. This church had a very proud opinion of itself. It was a wealthy congregation that considered itself as having everything it needed. It was full of apathy and unwillingness to live for Jesus Christ. Jesus' view of the people of the Laodicean church was very different from theirs. Jesus pleads with the people to repent and let Him into their assembly! They were a Christian church without Jesus!
