Fruit, Gentleness and Goodness: They're not just synonyms

The two Greek words translated "gentleness" and "goodness" are synonyms and could both be translated as goodness. But the first word points to sweetness and easiness, dealing lightly and gently with others.

The fruit of the Spirit are actually the character traits of the Lord Jesus Christ, and they are qualities produced in every believer, but in varying measure.
