Justification -- Reformation Day Sermon
Series SCARBC Quarterly Gathering
The history of the Christian church pivots on the doctrine of justification by faith. Once the core of the Reformation, the church today often ignores or misunderstands this foundational doctrine.
Dr. James White posits one of the main reasons this doctrine has fallen into disfavor and disuse is because many, even in the evangelical church, do not preach on the issue of sin. To be specific, there has been a decline in the belief and proclamation of the rightful wrath of God against sin.
This sermon was preached at the Quarterly Gathering of the Southern California Association of Reformed Baptist Churches hosted in Ontario. The six SCARBC Churches and three visiting churches combined their evening worship services for a Reformation Day observation of preaching and fellowship.
