Let Us Kill Him

Mark's parable at this point in Jesus' Passover week is an enlargement upon the action-parable of the Cursing of the Fig Tree. In effect, Jesus provided the divine view of the history of Judaism. God's ambassadors were rejected one after the next. Finally, God sent His Son and what did they say? "Let Us Kill Him" And they did! They deserved every execution of judgment, which came their way.
