In the morning we return to Mark and to a text which reminds us of the Reformation - Peter's profession at Mark 8.27-30. Central to the question of the Lord and Peter's answer is the fact of the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. Here is a truth every professing believer must affirm - Jesus is God - and anyone who can't affirm that is not a Christian. Again, invite a friend to come sit under this very important text.

Theme: The Lord leads the disciples to profess His Divine Person

1. On the way to "Caesar is lord" land, Jesus focuses their thoughts

2. It is clear the people of darkness had seen some light

3. Jesus now presses His disciples and Peter speaks for the group

4. Yet they are not yet allowed to tell the world – but we are!
