What a hope we have! It is a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul. God has given us His precious promises of salvation in Christ and confirmed them with an oath. It is impossible for God to lie. "Because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them" (Hebrews 7:24-25).
