The Great Robbery

"then I restored that which I took not away"

In this passage, it is stated Christ is restoring that which he took not away. In other words, we see a robbery committed and a restoration made.

1. A great robbery has been committed

• Sin robs God is what is rightfully owed to Him
• Sin robs man of his happiness of happiness

2. A great restoration has been accomplished

• it is a comprehensive work (he restores everything lost)
• it is an effective work (he made it happen)
• it is a gracious work (he did not owe it to man)
