The Folly of Planning a Death Bed Repentance

Our generation has heard many things about salvation and about God that are simply not true. One thing they have heard is that God will always be patient and will always forgive and will always be ready to hear anyone who calls out to Him. But this flies in the face of many texts of scripture in which God says that He reaches a point where He will not hear prayers and will not have any pity no matter how loud people cry to Him. Therefore, planning to "get religion" later in life is utter folly. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near.
