Listen to Your Parents

We can summarize the first eight verses in Proverbs thusly: I, Solomon, have written these words, so that my people may acquire wisdom and knowledge. But this requires one to have a healthy fear of God and attentiveness to one's parents. It is this honoring of parents that we will consider in Pro. 1:8-19.
