The Doctor and the Deserter

God often has a funny way of contrasting different people. One such occasion are Paul’s friends – Luke and Demas. Both had been close friends, and co-workers, with Paul. One would stay to the end, and one would soon depart.
Our Christian lives can often have a great start, but if we turn away from the Truth of the Gospel, we will look to other things keep us satisfied.
