Rise of a Queen

The rise of an orphan girl to become queen seems like a fairy tale. Yet here we see the consequences of sin: Israel's sin in being sent into exile, but also Esther and Mordecai's own refusal to return when they could, and instead hide their identities! Despite this, God has them where He wants them, and where He will use them, despite themselves, for the benefit of their own people.
