Man Made Religion versus The True Faith

Religion that is not based on the Bible, that merely follows the traditions of men, venerates objects, that makes images the center of its worship is entirely man made. The One True and Living God has revealed how He should be worshipped. We are not at liberty to do differently to what He has shown to us in His Word.

False religion does not help in our sanctification, it can produce a love of money, as we see in the so-called 'health and wealth' churches. It also may well produce a love of power in church leaders, through which they look to control the lives of their members.

God has spoken, and we are told that Scripture is 'not open to private interpretation'. May we therefore be able to detect the true from the false.
