The modern Church is in rebellion to Christ the Head. For all their high sounding words about Christ, the contemporary Chruch acts as though it is a law unto itself. What is the answer to this widespread rebellion? Understanding Christ's headship. Christ's headship over the Church is a fundamental truth confessed by all true Christians. Sadly it is little understood or appreciated in our modern democratic age. This sermon seeks to explain what it means in practice as set forth in this passage of Scripture. Thus, why is there a shortage of men for the ministry? What should we do about it? What exactly does Christ determine for the Church and how?
