Adoption #1: An Introduction

"Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the children of God, and such we are!"
(1John 3:1)

As Pastor Martin opens up this marvelous provision of God's salvation in Christ called "adoption," he identifies three crucial distinctions, brings a necessary word of caution, and then gives a brief word of entreaty.

"Father in heaven, may we know what You have lavished upon Your children. May we not be indifferent to that which cost You and Your Son so dearly, but may we be those who seek out Your works, having pleasure therein. Amen!"
