House of Prayer or Den of Thieves

On the first day of the Jewish week, our Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem on the back of the borrowed donkey. While there, He entered the Temple and looked around. The next day, our Monday, He and the Twelve returned to the city. On the way, He cursed a fig tree. This was typical of His setting aside Judaism and the Jews. While in the city, He entered the Temple, driving out the moneychangers. This further seals His judgment on the nation.
