The Aim of Falsehood and Liars

False teachers break you down, to build up their lies and falsehoods in your life, that they may be exalted in what they have, so they can take what you have, without you realizing you've been deceived. (2 Corinthians 11:20)

God's servants are used by Him to tear down the lies, pull down the strongholds and cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, in your life, that they can edify you and build up the body of Christ, so the Lord can be exalted and magnified through you and your faith obedience to the truth. (2 Corinthians 10:8)

See that's the difference. They were destroying the people and building up the lie. But what Paul was doing was destroying the lies, so that he could build up the people. See, that's how the enemy works, the enemy wants to tear you down so that he can establish the lie in your life. But God, what He does, through His people is destroy the lies in your life so that he could build you up — to be an edifier. Remember... what the enemy does, and the people that the enemy uses, he will use them to break you down, for you will submit to them and their lies — that they elevate the lie. But God's workers, working through God's ways, enters in your life to destroy the lie, without destroying you, so that, when they pull the lies down, then you can be built up on the truth, for the glory of God. And that makes all the difference in the world.
