Our New Song

Deuteronomy 31:19 and 20, shows us that GOD demanded an unforgetable song to be written, with a clear message.

A. Characteristics of Our New Song, is derived from GOD, distinct from the world, directed toward GOD, displayed in public view, and designed to attract others to salvation.
(Psalm 40:3)

B. Characteristics of GOD-honoring music is a balanced, unified, organized, a LORD God praising joyful noise; that brings melody to the Spirit, harmony to the mind, and rythmn to the body.
(Ephesians 5:19).

C. Questions to ask about music helps us to determine if they are GOD-centered or worldly. Is the music doctrinally correct? Theologically sound? Does the song edify the gospel and is it sung by a true believer with conviction and clarity.

We should never twist a truth of scripture to fit a melody line.
