The Weeping Prophet

Like Isaiah, Jeremiah had a solemn message to deliver. He was foreordained before he was was ordained. His mission was root out, to pull down, and to destroy. and to throw down, to build and to plant. When wickedness takes hold it needs to be thoroughly uprooted before the edifice of truth is erected. As always, there was an abundance of false prophets assuring the people that there would be peace.
