Galatians 6, Lesson 6

We have to believe in the failure of ourselves and the sovereignty of God. We cannot allow our freedom in Christ to enable us to sin. Some Christians get caught in sin. If we see others caught in sin, we are to restore them gently and carefully otherwise we might get caught as well. Our job is to do what God says. When someone does not repent, that person is to be cut off. Whatever we sow, we will get reap back more. We need to keep doing what God says, and in time we will get a harvest. This passage refers to sowing and reaping to our flesh or our spirits. A lot of people start doing the right thing, and then they quit when they don’t see the results. It is not too late to turn our lives around. We might be reaping the lousy harvest for awhile, but we must keep doing the right thing even when the harvest is bad and also when the harvest is good. We should never boast except in the cross of Christ. There is a big problem when we think there is something that we can do to earn our salvation. Anyone in Christ is the Israel of God.
