If Only We Had Eyes to See Things as They Really Are

The sad truth is that those who believe they are the power, the center of the universe, the 'movers and shakers' of this present age, are blinded to the real state of affairs, they are like Gehazi the Servant of Elisha. All they can see are princes, armies, money, and worldly power. As I once was myself, they are blind to the truth, that what is going on in the world is merely the earthly outworking of a spiritual conflict. And that just as prince of the kingdom of Persia could not resist Christ and archangel Michael, so the forces that stand behind everything that opposes the Christ and His kingdom will eventually be cast down.

Take heart Christians, you are not alone against the forces of wickedness in this world. They can be overcome precisely because, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

If only when things seemed grimmest, when you were in the deepest valley, the worst pit, you had eyes to see things as they really are!
