Reconciliation & The Righteousness of God

"The righteousness of God" is a peculiar phrase that Paul uses when teaching the doctrine of justification. It is more than merely a synonym for "the obedience of Jesus". The phrase "the righteousness of God" must be defined in terms of the character of God & the legalities of His covenent grace. "The righteousness of God" refers to our legal acceptance by God who accepts us in Christ into covenant relationship.
