Persevering Through Persecution: Church at Smyrna

Christ's letter to the church at Smyrna in Revelation chapter 2 is focused on encouraging a persecuted church. Yet the message He gives them is that more persecution will come and that they should be faithful, even unto death. That message is still valid for the church of today as we face increasing animosity toward Christianity and morality. Is our faith in Christ strong enough to help us persevere in the midst of growing persecution?
