Zechariah 14 (Day of the Lord - Part 1)

The Day of the Lord against God's people. God, not Satan, has summoned the nations against Jerusalem. This may be connected with the scattering of the sheep by persecution in Zech 13:7 when God turns His hand against the little ones and both passages connected with the invasion by Titus in 70 AD. Roman armies were composed of many nations.

This message presents cases of the Old Testament concept of the Day of the Lord, cases of figurative language used in prophecy, and the difficulties presented by pure literal interpretation of prophetic passages. These tools are necessary to pursue the rest of Zechariah 14.
