Faith Under Adversity

"Hast thou seen my servant Job?" These were the words that our God addressed to that arch enemy of His people - satan. Job's faith was severely tried, but we learn that through all his afflictions, in which he lost all that he had, Job never lost his faith and trust in God.

The words of Job - "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him," are a lesson to us all, that in the midst of life's trials and testings, our God is faithful. His love for those who are His is constant and enduring, whatever our circumstances may be.

We are not promised that the Christian life will be easy, it is certainly not 'sunshine all the way.' Job was an overcomer - we too can overcome, so long as our trust is in God. So whatever happens to us, remember this, God's love towards us will never cease. Job trusted God - do you?
