Our Only Mediator

In the 11 th century AD the church father and theologian, St. Anselm, asked such an
important question that it still demands us to answer it today: "Cur Deus Homo"
meaning "why did God become a man?" It is this exact question that our Catechism in
Lord's Day 6 and the Apostle Paul in our text answers.
