Main Point: Godly leadership is essential to the gospel witness of the church

1. There are two types of leadership in the church - elders and deacons, both are to be characterised by godliness.
   a) Elders – men of God
   b) Deacons - men and women of God
2. Godly leadership is necessary for the church to have a good reputation with the outside world
   a) Marital faithfulness
   b) Alcohol
   c) Speech
   d) Money
3. Godly leadership is important for the care of the church.
4. Godly leadership is a desire to be encouraged in the church
