The Miracles in Jonah

Jonah was a contemporary of Hosea and Amos and his book is historically accurate. This is a supernatural book filled with several events that characterize the person and work of the sovereign God. Some have questioned this book but the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 12:39-41 verifies its authenticity and its truth. Jonah was an unusual prophet; a proud Jew who hated the Gentiles of Nineveh and had no joy in the end result of the ministry to which he was called. Jonah is a clear indicator that it is not the power of the preachers that matters but the power of God that changes things.
