The Sorrow of Jesus' Return

Jesus is coming to condemn the unbeliever and comfort the believer. The condemnation and wrath of Jesus is not a popular subject, but it is a needful one. He will find no place in Heaven for those who appear before His Great White Throne. The dead, small and great, will stand before Him. Books will be opened testifying against each reprobate life lived. Then the Book of Life will be opened. The dead will be judged according to their works recorded in their books and they will be found wanting. They will be judged by their works because they rejected the finished work of Jesus Christ. Therefore, they will not be found in the Book of Life. Anyone not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death (Revelation 20.11-13). This is the sorrow connected to Jesus' return.
