Liberty Promotes Growth

Paul provides a more detailed look at how those in the church who are “strong” in faith must think about the nature of the church. Their goal and aim must not be the forcing of those who are “weak” in faith to agree with them but rather the mutually beneficial advancement of the whole church. The nature of the church as spiritual directly affects how we are to treat one another.
