If My People...?

Solomon had built the temple and had garnished it is lavish splendour but more than anything else Solomon wanted the Lord's presence in His house. And he was concerned that this temple would be a place where the Lord would hear prayer and it would be a place where God would bestow blessing. This text is a great revival text. Revival is the sovereign work of a sovereign God but there is also a responsibility on God's people. He says 'If my people..' Here is a call to live up to the 'if'.
