Proposition: Christ continues to do and teach here on earth through us, His beloved bride, the church. He has raised up many generations of followers of Jesus Christ who in spite of dungeons, fire, and sword have faithfully promoted and defended the Truth of God. We who are the recipients of His Word and grace are called to pass on these blessings to the generations that will follow us if the Lord tarries.
