Revelation and Infirmity

The apostle continues to glory, not in the things that the false apostles boasted of but of that which marked his calling, namely, reproaches, afflictions and a spirit of self-sacrifice.

1. A revelation that brought affliction v1,2.
   Glorying in revelation not in labours - his reason for relating his experience - the world's assessment based on image, the church must stand for reality.

2. A revelation previously concealed v2.

3. A revelation not to be distorted v2,3.

4. A revelation for Paul himself v4.

5. A revelation about which he will not boast v5,6.
