Giving is a grace from God, and strangely the poorest people are the best givers as was illustrated by the giving of the Macedonians. Giving begins by the giving of ourselves. Giving is not something that people should be forced to do, but should come from their hearts. We are ultimately motivated to give by observing the greatest sacrifice of all - that of our Lord Jesus Christ
