Death is the Beginning

Many, especially at funerals, speak of death as the final reality, but the fulness of the final state is the resurrected body united to the soul dwelling in the presence of God. However, death is the beginning of the glory world. When a saint dies he is in the presence of the Lord. The Scriptures declare 'absent from the body, present with the Lord.' At death, the veil is drawn and the child of God is blessed to behold wonders and majesties that are impossible for sinful man to know or describe. Indeed, death is the beginning!
