Unity

Bible Church of Cabot will experience maturing unity when
we understand and pursue 3 realities.
I. Unity is a gift to be maintained (Eph. 4:3a).
A. Indicative: Reality of the seven "ones"
(Eph. 4:4-6).
B. Imperative: Walk worthy
(Eph. 4:1-2; 1 Pet. 3:8-12).
II. Unity is the result of a healthy body life
(Eph. 4:11-16 & 1 Peter 3:8-13).
A. When leaders equip and build up
(Eph. 4:11-12).
B. When the body grows into the unity of the
faith and the maturity of the fullness of
Christ (Eph. 4:13).
C. The unity of corporate maturing faith
negates . . . (Eph. 4:14).
D. The unity of corporate maturing faith
accomplishes . . . (Eph. 4:15-16).
III. Unity is a good and pleasant blessing (Ps. 131).
