Four Fundamental Functions of the Church

The earliest church was marked by four particular functions that are essential to healthy church life no matter when or where a church exists. They were devoted to the apostles teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to the prayers. What does it mean to be devoted to these practices in the 21st Century?
