1056 Considering God's Schedule Pt-4

This message gets into the ages of the Earth and how the description of creation in Genesis One, is only part of the story.
What people believe is very controlling. It provides direction in life but how we come to believe what we do is seldom ever thought about.
People were taught that the world was flat and that was the primary reason that they congregated in Europe and Africa instead of exploring the earth. Even after Columbus many refused to believe any differently. They were unaware that the Old Testament in Isaiah described the Earth as a circle, see 40: 22.
In this message serious consideration is given to the additional information in Second Peter describing a previous Earth that went bad and how God recreated it.
