Can you relate? I can... I put my faith in my prayer and profession for nearly 10 years. I trusted God's plan and His preacher of salvation but not the Person of salvation. My faith was not in Jesus and His finished work upon the cross. I professed to know Jesus but Jesus did not possess me as His very own because my faith was in my faith and not in Him. I continued on in my sin and self-centered living claiming I was saved. I focused more on what the preachers told me I had to do...pray, believe the Roman Road (God's plan), and let the church know of MY decision, and I failed to entrust my life to Jesus. Therefore I knew about Him but I didn't know Him and was still perishing in my sin.

But Jesus, in His relentless love and mercy, showed me that my life was His, He paid a price for me and my life and I belong to Him and He granted me repentance in 1997 and interrupted my life forever more. I'm His and He's mine...to God be the glory!

Now I have a message to tell, a story to proclaim, a witness to give away and Redeemer to glorify. May He help me redeem the time.
