Eli's Example - Lessons To Learn

370

Eli was a unique character. He held the two offices of high priest and judge in Israel.

He was a good man, but seriously flawed in areas. He was weak and failed to take a stand on a very important matter.

Eli was a man who lost out with the Lord.

This is a fascinating study of Eli, and this passage is full of so many things which will instruct and even warn us.

There are lessons here to be learned for our personal, family, and Church lives.

Rev Elliott looks at Eli and:

  1. The Failures That Marred Him
  2. The Forfeiture That Cost Him
  3. The Fear That Gripped Him
  4. The Fate That Befell Him
