Loving Your Enemies

What the world needs now is love, but not the casual kind that is so cheap and common today. We need the kind of love that is radical. Radical love is the love of Christ, poured into our new hearts supernaturally from the heart of God. It is to be shared with a world that is starving for the real thing but does not know even what it is. This is the kind that moves you to love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who abuse you. It is displayed in our words, actions, and attitudes. Make a start today by praying for those who abuse you. We can't continue to hate someone we are constantly bringing before God's throne of grace. As we pray we begin to recognize that our enemies need the same things we need: forgiveness for sin and the power to lead a holy life.
