Only a Pound?

The story of Zacchaeus illustrates the effect of Christ coming to dwell with the chief of sinners. Jesus was criticized for that but when asked if the kingdom would come immediately, Jesus gave the parable of the pounds, "little" Christians with only a small gift 15-18 dollars, far less than the few with talents. They must be patient and be faithful for a long time and work among a hostile citizenship. But the reward of faithfulness was the same as the "great" Christians with huge gifts. Be faithful and use your little pound, and you will receive the blessing of the Lord.
