Father Abraham Had Many Sons

We take time to put the particular story of Abraham within the larger picture of God's rescue of human beings. We learn that a vital part of that rescue is God making a covenant with Abraham, promising that Abraham will have a multitude of descendants and that through him all nations will blessed. Abraham believes this promise and the Lord counted it to him as righteousness. This inheritance, that a sinner might be counted righteous by God by faith, is passed on to the patriarch's heirs. But who are those heirs?
