The Apocrypha not Inspired

Our Particular Baptist Forefathers make a special point to note in paragraph 3 of Chapter 1 that the books of the Apocrypha are not inspired. Pastor Jeff gives historical and practical reasons for this. Time is then devoted to obvious errors found in the Apocrypha. Finally some rare material from David Dickson is covered. He was a contemporary of the Westminster Divines, who commented on why this paragraph was put into the Westminster Confession of Faith.
