What makes Jesus different? His understanding of scripture is different. His system of religion is different. His teaching is different. His concern for others is different.

1. Where did the battle take place?
   Ideally, conflict will cause us to be humbled before God. However, conflict can corrupt our worship so that we dishonor God by going through the motions.
2. What is the cause of the conflict?
   Why did the Pharisees have a problem with Jesus? The problem resided in the desires of their heart.
3. The consequence of conflict. Conflict only goes in two directions: either it moves toward reconciliation or moves toward escalation.
