The Means and Assurance of Our Salvation

84

In this message our seminarian Christopher Campbell continues his expositional study of First John. He presented this helpful study at our Sunday evening service.

The Apostle John has a way of stating some fairly complex truths in profoundly simple language. He intends all believers to learn that genuine faith results in some pretty predictable conduct. So much is this the case that if the transformed conduct is not present, the basis for our assurance is not there.

Following the order of verses 1-6, we will see:

  1. The Means of Our Forgiveness
  2. The Warning of False Profession
  3. The Comfort of True Faith
