Paul Was Stoned To Death & Found Himself In The Third Heaven

The Bible records that the apostle Paul was stoned just about to death, and in fact had an 'out of body' experience landing him in a place that he calls the 'third heaven' which upon closer inspection reveals itself to be the actual Heaven where God lives. Paul calling it the 'third heaven' also lets know there are are two other heavens as well. This is no '90 Minutes In Heaven' fantasy to sell some books, Paul's trip is the 'real deal' and there's a lot we can learn from it.

"I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven." 2 Corinthians 12:2 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are taking a trip past the first heaven where the birds fly, past the second heaven where the stars and planets are, all the way up to the 'sides of the North' where the third heaven, the Heaven where God dwells, is located. On our way there, we will have to pass through a frozen solid firmament called 'the deeps', Job says "The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen." and indeed it is!
