Burden — For Our Brethren

The grace that saves also sanctifies, secures, supplies and sustains every believer. It conquers, captures, captivates and consumes its every subject. There is NOTHING cheap about God's redeeming grace. There is no cheap grace only cheap claims of grace.

I love this testimony of Paul... and the beauty found in its simplicity. He says, "For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in singleness of mind and godly sincerity, not with man's wisdom and ways but by the grace of God, and even more so toward you, our brethren." (2 Corinthians 1:12).

He is testifying that God's grace upon their lives is not merely a cheap claim but an all consuming agenda that has transformed and effected every dynamic and dimension of their conscience, convictions, compassions and conduct. Don't miss this. Jesus not only prepares a sinner to meet God when He dies, but He graciously equips His redeemed to wisely and humbly love, learn and live for Him, until he meets Him face to face.
