Preface to the Lord's Prayer - Our Father in Heaven

Like the Ten Commandments from the finger of God outline the
Law, the Lord's Prayer from the lips of God outlines for the
Christian how to pray. The Lord's Prayer is a compact but
comprehensive pattern for prayer, and it is the crown jewel
of the Scripture's teaching on prayer. Matthew 6:9a gives us
the foundational preface to the Lord's Prayer, teaching us
that we come to our God who is our Father in heaven.
