Haman's Pride and Prejudice

Haman and Xerxes are feasting.

Esther and Mordecai are fasting.

And for three days the sentence of death hangs over the Jewish nation until Esther puts on her royal robes, sets aside any love for her own life, and enters the inner court of the palace.

The events recorded in Esther 5 show us that the hand of providence is upon the wheel of time.

In this sermon we consider the effects of pride upon Haman, and also the effects of pride in the life of people living in the 21st Century. Pride will ultimately bring you to an end worse than Haman's, and Haman comes to a terrible end.
